Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Located on the Esplanade

The Russian Orthodox Cathedral is located at one end of a large park, the Esplanade. The church is from the 19th Century and during Russian occupation, the church was used as a planetarium. It is here that my master, Diana, is dropped off or catches the bus to return home. Using mass transit is far easier than having a car in the Old Town or downtown Riga. Finding a legal parking place is difficult and also expensive. Just ask Ed, he has already paid 15 Lats to have a bright pink boot removed from our car.
