Korcula Town (Croatia)
Farmers' markets in the United States are a welcomed treat each summer; however, here the markets are simply a way of life. The produce is far more varied than what I could possibly purchase in Pueblo. I bought a lovely garlic braid from this beautiful Croatian woman. She was pleased when I asked if I could take her photo. Croatia, for me, seemed to be a lovely blend of Greece and Italy - the olives, olive oil, seafood, and wine - just wonderful!
