Rundale Palace/Duke of Kurzeme's, Ernst Johann Biron's Summer Palace



Rundale Palace is Latvia's most outstanding baroque and rococo architectural monument. One hundred and thirty eight rooms are located on the two floors of the Palace. The main building consists of the duke's personal living quarters. the eastern wing was for receptions. It contains the Golden Hall, the white Hall, and the Grand Gallery. The western wing was used by other family members and members of other ruling families.
